Liberty Lodge No.95 was originally a “Moonlight Lodge” that held meetings outside and would meet during the full moon as it was the best evening of the month to have a well lit area. In 1895 the Lodge began to hold meetings in the Masonic Hall in Centervile Bedford. The building was used by Liberty No.95 until the Lodge moved to its current building on Longwood Ave in 1979. The Masonic Hall is now the home of The Bedford Museum & Genealogical Library

Liberty Lodge No.95 is chartered through the Grand Lodge of Virginia, AF&AM, which in turn, is recognized by the United Grand Lodge of England.  Before visiting, be sure to check with your grand lodge for recognition and visitation rights.
